Thanks again for all of the help with this DiscoStew. Do you know how I would go about checking the abs/dynamic control unit?

I'm afraid to tell you because your just going to go out and buy one and then it's going to be my fault. Unfortunatly I have trained so many apprentices that I know when a guy isn't doing what I told him.

I don't know how you would program it. Your not going to be able to just slam a used one in it.

lol I wasn't going to buy one. I was going to test it. but anyway. The brake switch finally came in and all is well! So it was a combination of brake switch and fuel relay. Thank you so much for all of your help with this.

It was the torque converter that was the primary problem. The transmission would probably have been fine to put back, but figured it would be best to put something with a bit less miles in there. The original had 215k, the one I got only has 105k. Thanks.

The jump in the tech at constant speed sounds like a the torque converter lockup being engage and disengage.
