fantastic looking TF rims i traded a cheap fiddle for my p38 with110k miles

how / who can reprogram to Aussie becm specs ?
and what cheap but not overly piss poor shocks should I put on ?

I just threw in a beefier used 4.6 trans n case n Borg n new air bags. went to single center muffler. Rear shocks are bad as evidenced by the now scalloped rear street tires.

and 13 mpg is best I can get downhill with tail winds. advice?
and door fob to becm with ignition barrel lock is pos gotta gut it or bypass once I get my MIT British bs degree
and these doorhandles are the worst design ever..are even new p38 door handles and internsls this shitty ?

but yeah I love it and want more of it.

redhawk -not sure if you are referring to me as Justin, but I'm not Justin. I put in another used bw viscous unit. I only buy used parts otherwise I couldn't afford my habit. old Will Tillery must have a jet boat by now paid for by my used parts bills over the years.

And thanks for suiting up for the home team in that shithole asscrackistan.

If you could swap all the electronics over to a DII and simplify the whole thing I would build one. I like everything except the sound of a Huey going down everytime you get in and start it up.

Anybody with a Testbook T4 or Rovacom equipment...
It's a 2 steps mod :
1.change market to Australia (or rest of the world if you want to keep one touch window all around)
2.disable EKA

Obviously its not possible.

and WITH the BeCM you are on a more or less forced to drive a vehicle with the same stupid problems over and over

The possibility of me doing my own P38 project is increasing. I picked up another one Friday that hadn't run since being flopped on its side in fall 2010. The drivers side doors and the passenger rear doors are superlocked, but the passenger front opens, which is good so I didn't have to climb through the hatch to reset the inertia switch. The wrecker driver had disconnected the transmission linkage instead of using the transport fuse trick. Which is OK I guess when/if the battery isn't hooked up... the left side doors are smashed pretty bad from the truck sliding on its side- far enough to wear completely through the door skin on the front. Since the front bumper and fender has already been removed, I pulled the driver front door hinges and had to rip the door off. when I was done the latch still sat on the striker. I didn't have a key so I broke the ignition lock out and "borrrowed" one from another P38. This all took an hour. I stuck a battery in it and it fired right up. I cranked the radio, put it in gear and hit the road. Runs great, plenty of power, low range engages smoothly, I even took it across the test ditch on bald tires. The poor bastard that owned it before spent a year and a half with the truck and never even sat in the driver's seat.
