Aren't these supposed to be an upgrade over the 2 nut system?

I never found it all that difficult dealing with the bendy washers.

Jimmy,
I have had a set on my 99 D1 for the last 6 months and have covered about 6,500 miles in that time. They have preformed flawlessly. The vehicle just passed it yearly safety inspection and I had the Tech check the front wheels for play specifically and he said they were tight and didn't show any play. I will keep you all up to date. But like anything Mark G. (ezzzzzzz) does this product is right.
Just flip second nut around so it can't back off
Yeah then it's reverse thread
That's solid advice right there.
Well to be safe I add a third nut too
Wish I would have though of that before I tack welded mine to the spindle.
That must be one hell of a backup option, in general. Spacing may be a bit of an issue.Well to be safe I add a third nut too
