That's right, I forgot it was the Jeep that was stuck!You're forgetting the details. The Classic was used to yank the Cherokee off the high-center, but that wasn't a good place to give a yank.
You pulled him backwards - the only time I can remember a tow chain was used for recovery

Been here since 2005 - been driving Land Rovers for 52 years and currently down to only four in the driveway - two Series IIA's , the Tdi D-90 and a new Defender 110 as a daily driver.
Iv'e been lurking here since I bought my 99' D1 in 2001, joined in 2009. I still enjoy my Rover thanks to much help found on this forum. Also enjoyed following along some pretty heated debate threads over the years! Is anyone else still rocking Safari Gard? Or Keith's Rovota rear axles? I believe I might have purchased his last conversion kit.
I had the $G front bumper with skid plate on my 2004 D2. That was the best bumper ever made for a Disco.
