Dap always sold shit parts. I bought bushing from them that were garbage. They were also a Procomp shock dealer.
Those fucking things sucked on ice.
Dap sold cheap Chinese shit before anyone.

Yeah, never understood their business model. There are many good Rover part suppliers i.e. RoversNorth, Atlantic British, EE, plus the Euro ones around from which to source.

A few of us were just reminiscing about the trail marshals at MAR (2005?) open carrying just the other day.

What about KVT?
Still think of the dude every time I look at my Classic with his [very last, sold to more than one person] roof rack.
Whenever we had two Classics with Greg Hirst, it was a nearly Powerball win event - with two of these side by side.

I heard he had one in the car, was he wearing it around? He was a complicated dude with a bunch of baggage. Never understood why he worked so hard to attract negative attention, him and guy who claimed he was displaying his 90 at SEMA, looking for sponsors, who was that? I just remember hi threatening me with a lawyer at some point, absurd. Kevin Wiley maybe?

"Over the last 20 Odd years I have done everything from developing more cost effective ways to do live Television broadcasts on location to building and servicing the entire infrastructure on an 800 Million Dollar Power plant job with a thousand employees by myself . I work alone and I always get the job done when it counts . I have worked abroad on many projects as well as all over the United States. I am now semi retired trying to catch up on the life I missed being entangled in work for so long but I will certainly entertain interesting projects for the right money." sounds OAF.

backpack rack was excellent
I miss my backpack rack. I think it's still on my old D2 which is sitting in a guy's back yard a few miles from me. He picks parts off it whenever he needs something for his D2....although I think maybe he ditched his D2. Oh well, I don't want it back.

Not a bad idea, a ton of bracing on that one. seems all the stress would end up where the top and the legs meet. SD feet, I would consider one for the other D2 I bought for the kids.
