She loves Italy, is fluent in Italian, so they started looking for a new home. They both have portable skills so they can make it work. I admire people who are willing to entertain such large changes in their lives. It's so easy to fall into a pattern that seems inescapable.

I guess for me it would be either Socorro/Ruidoso, New Mexico or Pagosa Springs, CO. I have a colleague in New Mexico and her and I have toyed with the firm idea for about two years now hopefully it will come to fruition! Regretfully so, for now it looks like Dallas or maybe Houston (HLRC?? ).

People are so friendly and open, cities are clean and full of art, and those quaint little houses with grass and wildflowers growing on their roofs was just too beautiful. And for somewhere so damn cold I've never seen so many people that love ice cream!!! But man, we gotta talk about food, that so called "hamburger" I had from some Mexican restaurant downtown was so NOT cow...no more slipping reindeer in the meat, K?

My second choice would be Lone Pine or Bishop California. I love the eastern Sierra's and the Inyo range.

Looking at your picture from the offroading area and this reminded me of a couple of pictures. The first picture is actually outside of Sandnes, if you turn 90 degrees to the left you are looking at Stanvanger on the horizon. The second is on top of the Prekestolen or "the pulpit".
