I kinda like the way it looks, altough I'm not sure if I would like it permanently, is there something I could use that would not be permanent, just so I can see if I really like it on my truck and if I dont, I could just remove or wash it off?

I have been thinking about lining the bed of the beast (my 88). Any one else done that? If I do it, I will post pictures of it so people can tell me how stupid I was. :D

After my experince of the MoD undercoating on my Air Portable frame, I am loathe to do something like that in the bed. What I used to add a bit of protection was make a "mat" from 2x2 pressure treated wood, overlayed with 1x3 boards. Add some protection, but also allow air circulation, and can be easily removed for cleaning out the bed.
On the other hand, my rovers have always been looked at by me as "work" trucks, so I haven't been overly concerned about dents and dings. I've even been known to carry a load of firewood in my Disco.

I had pulled out all carpet & padding in cargo area and used "Herculiner" do-it-yourself stuff. I had a bit of a water problem and as a result a rust problem. After completely removing rust and treating I used the herculiner. Great stuff, but after 2 weeks, my interior is still toxic. I plan to use it on my roof rack, but not on my hood.

I have a mat back there. By the way spending very little money I bought a GM truck bed mat and using my old mats as a template cut out some nice thick mats. The problem is the when something breaks free from a tire and whacks the hell out of the inside of the wheel well and some of the leaking.

Thanks

Tractor Supply has these 1" mats (I think they are calling stable mats) that are around 5' x 7'. They're grooved to hold water/dirt and are very very inexpensive. I think they were around $10. They could easily be trimmed to your design. I'm looking at getting one as I never did get the "real thing" from land rover.

P.S. Dan- The bedliner was so easy there is no way you could mess it up ;)

Instead of the camel trophy logo you should have put the Nittany Lion on there, or better yet a portait of Joe Pa.

I like the sides, but I can't understand the hood blackout thing. I always use the reflection off the hood when I am at a stop light so I don't have to do the disco dip to see the lights change. Looks good though.... I like the camel trophy sticker myself.

Peter, no offense, It was you I was referring to as the A-hole. And thats my opinion so take your own advice and don't bitch about it. Didn't your mother ever teach you that if you don't have something nice to say keep your mouth shut? If your going to be a dick, expect to be treated like one. I'm embarrassed I even responded, this site has gone to shit lately with all the "My Dicks bigger" and "I am the Doyen of whats proper on a Land Rover" comments. Nuff said.

Kevin, let me elaborate on that and be done with that.
a) Adam apparently asked about people's opinions about his deal, and was offered some. I did not ask you about your opinion about my personality (not that I give a shit about it in general, much less from a nice guy like you), but you volunteered to give one.
b) my mother taught me to be honest, regardless of whether the words would be nice or not.
c) I don't think the site has gone to shit - but, you'd have to dig a lot to find a post where I called anyone names. So, if you think it's gone to shit, you're part of it, not me.
d) "what's proper on a Land Rover" - it has nothing to do with Land Rover. I cannot say that I am not a poseur for 100%, but, at the very least, I am trying not to be one. I don't wear anything with a logo of something I've never been a part of, and the same applies to the vehicle stickers.

G4 Edition stickers and CT stickers with Rhino Liner sprayed all over the truck an homage? That's the best one I've heard yet.

But let's be real honest here... You thought the stickers and the rhino liner looked cool so you posted on Discoweb to show off.

Peter posts his opinion of the pic and you get mad because he's telling it like he sees it, but you just opened yourself up to all of the comments, both good and bad.

We've been down this road many times before.

I went to Drexel University which borders UPenn. I liked going to football games at penn, but it was really more to drink ;)

As for Real PA college football teams, Upenn was not one :p

Of course now I have to be a UTES fan or BYU fan or I'll get to much shit for any other opinion.
