Guys
Listen the reason I put it up, and I said it b/4, to give ideas. There seems to have been an ungodly amount of "questions" about hood blackouts lately and figured I'd do something different, post pic and give poeple an idea of what can be done.

If you dont like hood blackouts then why read a fucking post about it.

As for other stickers on the rig PENN STATE ALL THE WAY!!! I probly could have saved myself a bunch of flaming if i would have put the Nittany Lion on my hood, but seeing I didnt go to Penn State I would have becaome a PENN STATE POSUER, right PETER. yeah I know they havent been to hot the past couple of seasons but i stil luvs em.

next time i will put a discalimer on my picture stating "NOT INTENDED FOR SHOW OF PURPOSES... BUT FOR INSANE BASHING FOR MY FUCKING STICKERS IS O.K."

One last question Peter... for the people that buy the G4 edition are they posuers seeing that the US cant even compete in them? Give a shout out to HO for me on that one

Peter in my original post, no where did i state i wanted comments or to be stroked about how it looked. Just b/c i step out on a branch and try something different, It appers NO ONE has done this b/4, why not. So instead of being called and inovator, i get to be called every name in the book. THANKS isnt jealousy a bitch

:D ;)

Is it just me?

or has anyone else noticed that everyone from the southern states that post here, with a few exceptions.... probably transplants, and the east coast are polite and generally good natured, and most from the left coast show nothing but arrogance and distain towards anything that is not what they would have done. Not pointing any fingers, just a compass needle. Why is that?

If you don't like negative comments then why for Christ's sake would you start a thread about your hood job in a Land Rover discussion forum? I assume that with your post count that you must have read a few threads on this web site. What could you possibly expect?

why the hell did you post it for in the first place? LOL
As of being innovative, I'm all for it. I don't think anyone on the board has installed gold-plated wire wheels on their trucks - you could try that one, too (or, at least, spray your existing wheels with the yellow shiny stuff from Home Depot, for about $15).

over and out of this thread

Why is it that on every thread where "some people" specially from the west coast posts ends up like this? lots of controversy, way too much criticism (forgive my spelling) and not the good one, and then the name calling starts?

i'm a poseur. i wear a "Hinckley" T-shirt even though i don't own the 4.2 million $ sailboat i want ... although i do own a sailboat, its just not a Hinckley ...

That Hink wont fit on Smith Mtn. Lake.... I recommend the Hinkley 42' Day Sailer that was at Annapolis show last fall... or maybe a nice little Alerion 30 for the classic lines.

Spydrjon,

You're correct. I'm a southerner who lives out west (on CA's eastern boarder) and works with others who also moved from the south. We have all noticed that people out here, especially from CA, are generally less respectful of others and rude. It's just a different culture, just like NY or NJ. Unfortunately the west probably has better scenery (except in the fall), better weather, and certainly better off roading options than the south.

Just my opinion.
