Harpoon him with about 100' of steel cable anchored to a post in your yard. That should slow him down until the po-po gets there.

it scares that I like the way you think...My personal favorite is the 870 Remington, nothng like the sound of a round being chambered...

I like that idea but think adding the security dog with that would make for a better show. :D

Yes....picture it....harpooned thief tethered to pole by steel cable....hungry and sadistic rental security dog. You could sell tickets...maybe call it Land Fishing.

While NJ requires a Firearm Permit to purchase or transport a firearm (shotgun or rifle, you need an additional permit per handgun), you do not need a permit to own a shotgun. So if you obtained it through other methods (such as a relative giving you one) and did not transport it off of your property, I believe you'd still be legal.

Now... the real question is, what is legality of pointing a firearm at someone in NJ on your property?

Btw, the NJ Firearms Purchasing Permit is relatively easy to get, but takes a while... you have to go to your local PD, fill out forms, get finger printed, and then wait for paperwork to be returned. Then you can use it to buy shotguns, rifles, and ammo in NJ... it also allows you to transport firearms to hunting or target shooting.

Personally I wouldn't want to get shot with a bb gun, but I am smart enough to know that a .410 is a REAL gun.

Well, if you are a fan of multi-tasking, Taurus has a new(ish) handgun out. Forgot its real name, but it is known as The Judge. Handles .410 shotshells, slugs, flares, as well as the venerable .45 LC; some models take up to 3" hi-brass mags. Looks like a good 'varmint' or snake gun.

If your state's gun laws have you so worried that you have to ask this question, then you should probably just stick to calling the police for help and hiding in your house.

.........

a .410 killed a friend of mine when I was a kid. Yes they will kill. His brother was shooting cans off a fence and he ran from behind the house at the exact wrong time. a sad day for sure.

after looking @ the pictures go outside and beat his little ass to a pulp. Maybe I think differently than most being 6'6 280lbs but there wouldn't have been much of a thought process there.

An alarm system with a small flashing red led tends to keep people out. You really might want to start locking the cars.

At 6 foot 6 and 280 you can just walk out there in your man panties and tell him he's got a pretty mouth and watch him outrun Usan Bolt.

Here's a thought.

Hire Sasquach, oops I mean Doug C "Loved you in Harry and the Hendersons man, and the work you did in Star Wars was totally overlooked by most folks" to camp in your driveway a few nights and explain to the guy that he's not wanted around.

Should work.
