The sleeper kit works with the second row seats foldedd once and the front seats tilted all the way forward. It provides just enough room for my 6'1" 200lb frame.

I liked the concept of that although being about your size I don't know how comfortable that would be. Plus I can't see me getting the Rover empty enough to make room for me in there. I'd probably have better luck fitting a 2 person ten on my roof rack.

I had considered something similar but folding or rather sliding out the back door to make a work or cooking table.

Nice job though I like it.

So here are the pics of the work in progress...

You can see the heavy duty slide rails and the very basic drawer construction.

Hope this helps.

Except the only screws in my box are for the slides and the drawer face. Everything else was biscuits and dowels. I couldn't be outdone by Marc. ;)

First cargo box I built I used screws and dowels but then I had to counter sink them all and fill with puddy that was just a pain. Next one I'll be doing it quick and dirty, dowels, glue and my finish and brad nailers. I don't have a biscuit cutter so those are out for me.

I thought about the dual dovetails but i knew it would be covered by carpet. lol

I see. Do you also fix rusted-out sections of your truck with foam and paint?

I thought about doing biscuits and dowels, but then I said it's going to be covered by carpet anyway...:p

In all reality with my skills I'm surprised it has turned out the way it has.

Square.

Drawer works.

It fits.

Question-

What are your thoughts on absolutely filling the back-half of the Disco (2nd row removed) with these?

mountainsmith makes a great product. my current design actually has a drawer incorporated that is made to the dimensions of that bag, so I will be buying 4 of those "cubes" and putting them in the drawer. easy to label, remove, etc...

I have one I completed a while ago. I ditched the two rear seats, ac and all the fascia. I utilized the unused space by the wheel wells. I have two storage boxes on either side with latches for locking and I ran plywood over the top to create a shelf, easily removable, for storage of my hi-lift and other gear, like an ice chest. Easy access and I can sucure it. Any gear I have stored underneath will not come out and knock me out if I roll. I also put four of the stock rear cargo lights in back to light up under the shelf and in the storage boxes themselves. This really helps! They are deep which provides a lot of storage, but sometimes a little bit of a pain. I keep most of my stuff in bags or containers so it isn't too bad. All in all it has really worked well.

if any one is interested i can post specs. Let me know.

Hey guys,

Crutchfield website.

"Mocha Box Carpet
3 yards
Item #060CMOC3
In Stock

$29.99"

I ran a little short....I need another "roll":ack: in order to completely do the inside/out of the drawers. The handles also came from them, under the "build your own box" menu...
