If you think that Moore is the only person to do this and that both sides do not have propaganda that is twisted or complete lies, you're kidding yourself. I believe that Kerry and Bush both bend the truth to their advantage, and that many DO blindly follow them, so I guess they are as big of big fat idiots as Moore.
And, just BTW I am not convinced that Moore is so into his film being labeled satire.

Bri, I went to http://www.turbotax.com/calculators/lawchange/notemplates/ to figure out how much I saved under the new tax change enacted under Bush. According to Turbotax, my wife and I saved $3850 in federal taxes in 2003. Why don't you get your tax return out and do the same and report back.
Kerry wants to roll back the tax law change. Without getting into any Michael Moore garbage argument, its pretty easy for me to evaluate who I'm going to vote for.
I also went to another tax calculator website: http://www.smartmoney.com/tax/filing/index.cfm?story=bushtaxcut to do a couple of what if scenarios for different income levels. Here's a few scenarios:
1. $50K annual income, 2 exemptions, 0 dependents, no itemized deductions and no capital gains or dividend income. This couple saved $332. Their taxes went from $4792 to $4460.
2. $50K annual income, 2 exemptions, 2 dependents, no itemized deductions and no capital gains or dividend income. This family of four saved $1132. Their taxes went from $3592 to $2460.
3. $30K annual income, 2 exemptions, 2 dependents, no itemized deductions and no capital gains or dividend income. This family of four saved $592. They went from $592 in taxes to $0.
So Bri, it seems pretty clear that just about everyone benefitted from the Bush tax cut.
