Just show bars/liquor stores your existing ID, they don't usually read the dates because that would involve basic arithmetic. I'd say it has about a 70% success rate.
I don't know if TN does it but most states have made it where the under 21 ID's look totally different now.

I never understood the demand for fake IDs. When you are underage in college there are so many different ways to gain access to alcohol that don't require an ID that there is not much to be gained by having one, unless you absolutely have to get into the clubs where the hot girls in tight pants hang out. In fact, not having one is a savings in many ways because you don't pay bar/club prices for drinks.
What is your real reason for wanting a fake ID? Understanding your true motivations might help you figure out what you really want and think of alternative ways of achieving your goals.
In some ways, a fake ID is like a Land Rover. They can be a real pain in the ass, but they can get you to places that you otherwise wouldn't be able to reach. By the same token, they can also get you into trouble.

I don't know about Knoxville, but they are hawks at the gas stations and liquor stores in most college towns. Obviously there's probably some that don't give a shit but you atleast gotta have something saying your 21, even if it's an ID of someone who doesn't look anything like you. Hell, I had a friend go to Athens when he was underage and got turned down at a bar because he didn't have an ID. Turned around, used his sister's and got in.jymmiejamz said:

Use a passport instead? I used my passport for a couple years when I broke my license. I'd be a good way to throw them a curve ball with the date.
I used to "chalk" my license back in the late 80's. I changed the last digit in my DOB from a 2 to a 0 very easily using a pencil and a beige colored paint.
I'll do it but it will cost $150 and a box of a box of tampons (wife wants me to go to the store and I really don't want to).
