    1995 Range Rover County

Well, the time has finally come, and I need to sell my 1995 RRC. I would really like to get $6K for it, but will consider all reasonable offers. The details: * Black and Tan. * 133K miles. * Good condition BFG AT T/A's (probably 95% life left in them) * OME Shocks and XHD Springs, which makes...

    New alternator

I've got a '95 RRC that needs a new alternator (and also a battery). I'd like to get a 100 or 140 amp upgrade because I'll likely be adding a winch and other electrical components in the future. Where would I find the parts? I called Rover Connection (http://roverconnection.com) yesterday but...

Agreed, you should be able to find a good, clean '97 for the mid to high teens. Shop around. I would buy the salvage titled car, but for under 10, and only as a track car. Like Jimjet says, trying to resell it as a street car down the road will be extremely difficult.

Contact your local PCA. Like all the great help you get here on Discoweb, you will find the local PCA just as helpful finding a reputable shop to work on the car.

    My other baby recently arrived

Well, I said the Boxster is more of what F. Porsche intended when he set out to build a car. Mid-engined, lightweight, nible. A number of x-fellow Boxster racers have given up on their Boxsters in favor of a GT3. Which had me thinking seriously about it. But I do love my Boxster, so no I would...

    My other baby recently arrived

I don't have anything recent with me. Remind me this evening and I'll look around at home for a relatively recent photo of the car.

I've got a Boxster S. It's most definitely my first love. My RR is nice to have, but if I had to chose between the two it would be the Boxster hands down. Sorry Land Rover manics, but that's the way it is... A normal Boxster is a really nice car. If you learn to drive it correctly you can be...

    Fuel pump?

    Fuel pump?

I have a '95 Range Rover County (Classic) with a stock 3.9. And it's been a very long time since I had to troubleshoot mechanical issues. So I'm warning you now that my questions may seem pretty basic.... Is the fuel pump mechanical or electrical? The reason I ask is because last night I parked...

    Sales price?

Thanks for all the replys and the info. At least I have some basis now, and some good ideas for further research. And just to answer a few of the questions: It is Black with a Tan interior. It is now, and as far as I know has always been a California car. I haven't looked under any of the...

    Sales price?

Was up at the shop getting some maintenance work done on my Range Rover and ended up talking to the shop owner about a '94 Defender that he is selling. The Defender has everything I wanted to put on my Range Rover and the added bonus of being manual and open top. I am in love. So now I am...
