I have 04 Disco. 2nd to last battery lasted 3 years. Last battery lasted 12 months. I replaced battery today and truck starts fine. I put multimeter on and alternator in charging battery at 14.5V. I was told alternator should not charge above 14.2V. Does this sound right?

Pretty sure RMS has a slight oil leak. I could have the person who put the engine in replace the gasket, but at this point in time I just want to get rid of the truck.

Last night I washed off engine, radiator, frame of truck. Today I went for 5 hour drive. I checked the front frame of the truck and there is coolant inside of it. Thinking its the radiator as everything else is dry.

www.roverparts.com sells the TRW right rear caliper (p/n BHU117) so I bought that. I also bought STC1910 and changed the pins. Caliper didn't come with 2 new copper crush washers for the banjo bolt, so I just reused the old ones. No leaks and brakes are happy again.

Black plug goes in the front of the seat, take front plastic thing off the seat bottom to see. Did you use Detoxit to clean the connectors or just plug them in/out a bunch of times? Usually this has fixed the SRS light issue for me.

When my 04 did this I used UVIEW 560000 Combustion Leak Tester (bought it from Amazon) to check for exhaust gases in the coolant. Do the coolants hoses pressurize past 20psi?
