The other disco stays connected, and reads fine during startup, but starts too fast to get cranking rpm from starter. I'm gonna try pulling the ignition relay and see if it will read rpm not starting

I did try jumping the starter, still disconnects obd.

So, It drops the obd scanner when I turn the key to turn over the motor... Then reconnects after the key is back in position 2. I e done it on every other vehicle I have, and it doesn't disconnect. It doesn't give me rpm on anything while running on the starter, but I think it's because they all...
