I've managed to get 65mph on the clock of my Series .. at that speed it isn't a matter of driving, but more like clinging on for dear life. I'll stick with the RRC for higher speeds.
I've got a 95 RRC with near 160k on the clock as my daily driver. The backup is a *shamely says* Ford, but that one should be replaced in the near future for another Rover
I've got Toyos as part of the summer tire set for my Rangie and they are comfortable and quiet and have done well offroad. I decided to get a more aggressive/siped tire for winter and more muddy conditions though.
You will have to dismantle quite a bit to get to the front as it has to be moved back before it slides out of the holder it is in on the front. At that point you basically have removed everything already to achieve that goal.
In regards to the side screws ... hmm .. mine have been ok so far...
