    1999 D1 parting

If you decide to part it out I could use the front door cards, if they are not scorched brown on the top. Also the surround that holds the speaker on the rear door. Thank you.

1995 LWB: parts availability in general

If the RR you are looking at has any cracked or broken plastic dashboard parts , such as the instrument bezel, it will be nearly impossible to source replacements.

    Intermittent Overheating

My 97 was overheating. One problem was the two fans in front of the radiator were not getting power on a consistent basis & were not running when needed. The same thing happened to my 95 RR. Both fans quit & I had to replace them. No problem since. Good luck

    cruise ECM

After checking my cruise control system the only thing left was the ECU which had failed. I tried three used replacements that did not work. (My mechanic loaned me a ECU that was known to work & my cruise control then worked when I installed it). The only way I found a good ECU was by asking...

    cruise 95

My mechanic plugged in his "KNOWN GOOD" ecu in to my truck to see if the rest of the system was in good order. It was. I then bought/tried 4 ecu's from various sources who all claimed the ecu's they were selling came from a "running" vehicle. None of them worked. I found a vendor on Ebay in the...

    Discovery TJM rear bumper?

I have a used D1 TJM bumper that doesn't have the mounting brackets. I've been to lazy to have some made so I'm stuck unless some one might have some brackets from a wrecked rear bumper. (Can't hurt to ask).

Question from a would-be '95 RRC LWB buyer

I have a 95 LWB 25th Aniv Edition. I love the truck and I stay on top of maintance but it is very frustrating trying to find interior parts as the plastic trim etc decides to break. Replacement parts are hard to find since the 95 interior only had a one year run there is not a large selection in...

    245/75

I'm going through the same discussion with myself but I think I'm going with the 225/75 for my 95 lwb. When I had my 91 Hunter I ran 215/85's & was very happy with them. (I had to make modifications for bolting in the spare).

    RRC LWB rock sliders options

I put sliders on my 25th Aniv LWB from Inland Rovers in Riverside, CA. If you look on their web site they show a picture of them after they installed them on the truck. I've been happy with them even though I don't take this truck on very serious trails. Hugh

    Getting farther behind, Help!

I use Huntington Service Center in San Marino @ Huntington Drive & Granada. (626) 570 9901. ( I sometime use the train to get back to LA. You could transfer to the Valley train downtown if it is convenient for you.) If their shop helper is working he can usually take you to the train station...
