No it does have that. I can’t put 37” tires on it from the dealer and it costs $80k as tested or $53k for the stripper model. There lies the difference. It is also exactly what it claims to be. It’s not an $80k modern vehicle with lockers front and rear comparing itself to an open diff base model predecessor.so for the sake of this argument should I pretend the Defender doesn't have any of that stuff? I admit the detachable sway bars are pretty bad ass, but Defender has all that other stuff.
For perspective I liked the DC100, the new Defender is 10 years late. This is the offering in 2020. I like the Freelander everywhere except the US. I am just disappointed with the Defender on all levels, but especially the price for what it is. I will buy a Bronco and a Grenadier. I don’t see the point of the Defender over any other SUV.
