What are your thoughts about McCain's strategy on choosing her?

Do you think it's a good thing or a bad thing and why? Personally, I think it changes EVERYTHING about this race.

Your thoughts?

I am getting old, and yes, she is hot. 5 kids. You know what that means! :D

I think this is one of the smartest things he could've done. Welcome, fence-sitting Hillary supporters.

Republican Sarah Palin said she thinks creationism should be taught alongside evolution in the state's public classrooms. Palin was answering a question from the moderator near the conclusion of Wednesday night's televised debate on KAKM Channel 7 when she said, "Teach both. You know, don't be afraid of information.

call me whatever you want, but a woman has no business in that position. I was going to vote republican, but Bob Barr is the man now.

Funny, she's the only one in the race for the executive office who has executive office experience -- she's more experienced than Obama.

and of course the Obama campaign is criticizing her "youth & inexperience"....isn't that the pot calling the kettle black?

So, you are afraid of how weak evolution is, or of information? You're in support of editing out certain views? Think about it -- to teach creationism means you would ad a sentence like this in a text book: Others believe the origin of the earth and it's species is derived from God; and in support of the evolutionary theory, some believe that a God may have used evolution to create.

Oh, that's real threatening! (Especially when you consider that the president and federal government CAN'T DICTATE WHAT IS IN STATE EDUCATION!)

Others believe Allah had a hand in it, others believe the great sun god had a hand in it, others believe space aliens had a hand in it, others believe barry obama had a hand in it. How about just sticking to the facts?

RBBailey: Are you really serious?

If you are then I am never going to speak to you again because you are not worth the effort.

I would be interested in your views on palin? Being from alaska and all.

Sigh, I'm casting my vote for the republicans, but it wont matter, the media chose obama

Well, I've only lived here for 4 years, but from what I know about her, she is tough and has risen up the ranks pretty quick. Her approval rating up here during the first year of taking office was the highest it has ever been for any Governor, ever. Almost 90% I believe. She is fiscally conservative, strong on energy and ethics, holds her ground and doesn't let ANYONE push her around, and she has played a huge role in getting a gas pipeline built, which is no easy task. She's also done a lot to clean up the corruption in Alaska's political figures which has been exposed over the last year.

Yes, she is inexperienced with two terms as Mayor of a small town in Alaska (Wasilla) and as a new Governor of Alaska, but she CRUSHED Frank Murkowski in the primary and former Governor Tony Knowles in the general election for Governor, so we are very confident in her ability to lead.

Obama is also very inexperienced (US Sen. since '05?) and he is going for the top job with his VP candidate, Biden, having more experience than him. So, it's sort of the same deal with McCain, but personally, I'd rather have someone with more experience going for President than my VP.

All in all, I think it shakes things up a little and it certainly brings a little life and charisma to the face of McCain's campaign, not to mention the implications of that fact that women now have an option to put a woman in a top executive position in the White House and it says something about McCain making the choice to run with a woman. I dunno.

LOL....you couldn't make this shit up!

Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama's campaign on Friday blasted his Republican rival's choice of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin as a running-mate, highlighting her "zero" foreign policy experience.

"Today, John McCain put the former mayor of a town of 9,000 with zero foreign policy experience a heartbeat away from the presidency," Obama spokesman Bill Burton said in a statement.

She may be a MILF but she seems like another right wing religious nut. Bad move IMO.

Creationism is religion and has no place in public schools. If people want to hear about Genesis then they can go to church.

I've had it with religion in politics. Abortion, gay marriage etc.
