Bri you will have to accuse HunterAK and his communication skills or lack thereof, personal attacks and name calling is all that is left when everything else has gone down the toilet. Instead of being an adult and realizing that perhaps Senator McCains VP pick was a bad choice he will throw himself on his own sword.

Besides all that he lives in Alaska, and you know what they say about people in Alaska... If you're born there you'll run away, If you move there you are running away.

Bri, what kind of advice would you give your daughter? Would you advise abstinence?

Honestly, you are sitting at the dinner table with your 15 yr old daughter and she asks you about sex. What do you do? Do you hand your daughter a condom and say "here you go, bang away"?

Why must sex education be a topic to be addressed in school? Don't you think that time would be better spent learning about the three Rs? Is it any wonder why countries like India are kicking our ass in engineering and computer science fields?

Just curious... do you talk like this when you are having normal face to face conversations?

Lets me very clear here, what you really mean to say is that you THINK that I am an idiot. Because, I am not an idiot.

Sorry, let me rephrase. I think you're an idiot.

You're muddling the point. My point is that obviously with such an ideal mom in Mrs. Palin, teaching everything such a successful person would, it did not work!

Answered, and it's importance relative to Palin explained already in this thread:

If she had more time to prepare for the race, she would have had a better showing.
I didn't realize there's enough and in AK for you to bury your head that deep.
A VP pick shouldn't have to prepare in order to:
  • Know what percentage of energy the largest energy producing state supplies, when she's governor of that state.
  • Know what the VP role is, she should have already read the US consitution
  • Be able to name at least 1 newspaper or magazine she reads, when she claims to "read them all"
  • Know at least one US Supreme Court ruling she objects to other than Roe v. Wade. I find it difficult to believe that is the only one she objects to.
There are four off the top of my head, how long a list would you like provided?
Unless someone is a die-hard anti-abortionist, voted for her only because she's a woman or voted for her because she was the "home team", I can't fathom why someone would think she is the best candidate willing to join McCain's ticket.
I can't believe the Republican party would want her as the 2012 candidate. If she is, the democrats have nothing to worry about.

I wonder if a bunch of potential VP candidates saw that McCain had already lost the election and rejected the opportunity and saved themselves for 2012.

Do you really believe that?
Given some of the other nonsense she's come out with, it's not difficult at all to believe. But it doesn't really matter.

Maybe. But if he'd picked a strong VP candidate I think he'd have had a really good shot at it. And if not a win, it would have been close enough that it wouldn't have looked bad for the person he picked.

 You are such a chump man. Is that supposed to sting or something? So weak. You've obviously never been to Alaska. Don't come, please. Someone as blockheaded as you wouldn't understand what this state has to offer.....

I have been on the summit of Denali twice, spent months on the Ruth glacier as a product developer for The North Face, I've attempted to climb the Moose's tooth, my parents had a summer home in Eagle River, I was one of the first skiers with Scot Schmidt, Jim Conway and Doug Coombs in the early 90's to develop Valdez heli-skiing in the southern Chugach Range out of the Tsania Lodge when you could fly for a $100 poker chip, my friend Dean Cummings still operates a service out of Valdez ...

So yeah I've spent plenty of time in the state, I didn't come up with that saying, I heard it while there. I thought it was more of a local joke...

You have to admit it takes a special breed to live there year round you fucking mook.

I see you aren't above resorting to personal attacks and name calling now too you little prick.

Impressive AK resume though, I'll give you that. It does take a special breed (the darkness, the light, the elements, isolation, etc.). There are definite pros and cons. My kayak turned over twice in Prince William Sound this summer in 53 degree water when the weather turned on us out of nowhere. 30 knot winds and 4 foot seas with no where to go. I almost didn't make it out. I've never been in an outdoor situation where I felt like I was going to die until I moved out here and it's happened several times now. The weather, the mtns, and the water rule your ass out here. It's no joke.
