wow, what a terrible speech that was. I now see that the country is on a one way course staight to hell. god help our poor children.

I watched the speech this morning and was glad to hear that Obama changed it removing the lesson plan and the parts about what the kids can do to support/help him. Over all, it wasn't bad.
There's absolutely nothing wrong with a message that says there's no excuse for not staying in school, realizing your potential, aspiring to contribute to society, etc.
If the speech had still included the part about writing a letter about how you can support President Obama or a pledge to support or serve Obama then I'd be critizing it.

i have just as much disdain for those democrats as i do you and those like you. it's the president (dem or rep ), it's time to show some respect.
my kids watched it, and we discussed it when they got home, however, they seemed more interested in watching the electric company than talk about the speech. go figure...
