Storm Case vs Pelican

ROFLMAO Garrett!

*************

I've only used Pelican - for practical purposes plus I dig the looks. And the lifetime warranty was a deal closer. I just have two 1610 cases, but planning to get another few smaller ones for electronic gadgets and a camera. My only complaint about Pelican is the weight as I also use these cases for air travel, but they are really easy to spot @ the carousel though!

One thing to consider is the availability of Pelicans on eBay - when I was shopping for mine, there were tons of new ones for half MSRP.

Garrett is right!! And so is Koby!!

There's no need to argue about anything or need to check out any other cases.

Pelican's are the best. :D

you're next on my list, so just watch yourself! i am on a roll. haha.

i don't want to be right Jamie i want to be the BEST! THE BEST, THE BEST, THE BEST! but alas it will never happen with my LL Bean sweaters, Mountain Hardwear jackets, Georgia boots and Casio G shock. i will just have to suffer through life with my good things. :(

Real funny. :) If it weren't for my Pelican's, I would have destroyed everything I carry.

Then you're way ahead of me. I wish I could look even half that good when I'm out and about! :)

I like Pelicans. They have balanced features, and are more durable than anyone here really needs. Some of the other brands have features that it seems would make them a little tougher in some ways, but who cares. You can't break a Pelican case to begin with.

Hardigg makes great cases. They manufacture many for the military and various gov't organizations. They are, however, generally large for the interior space they provide, and many of their top models are rotationally moulded. Very tough indeed, but too big for our purposes. The Stormcases are more consumer oriented.

When it comes down to it, the guy using Action Packers doesn't need to worry about his tools any more than we do. We aren't dropping them out of helicopters.

Cheers,

Kennith

Jamie :)

wow. those are just.....well......i dunno.

when the moment strikes me (when i have that gay cowboy thing going on) i will toss on my Justins or Dan Posts with the Carhartts and bust a move. not a pretty sight. the Georgia boots are just for playing farmer joe. the REAL pretty boots are my Muck boots! those always get the ladies moving away from me.

LOL Garrett, I hardly grew up a poor immigrant. If you knew anything me you would know this to be true.

If I may use a quote: "Bitch, what you don't know about me I can just about squeeze in the Grand-Fucking-Canyon."

The simple fact of the matter is that you know very little about me and I prefer to keep it that way.

i wasn't being all too serious koby. seems to be an issue with me. well except when it comes to cases i carry in the back of my trucks. but i am glad you grew up with all the morals and money you could ever want.

Well, if you weren't being serious, your delivery certainly needs work.

Do you always make the assumption that everyone with an asian last name has been a struggling immigrant? Or do you just assume that I no speakee engrish because of my last name? Either way it came off pretty fucked up.

I know that not every agrees with me. The guy asked for an opinion and he got one. Whether you like it or not is up to you. You don't have to agree with me. But don't make assumptions about me because my last name is Kobayashi.

Most people just assume they know martial arts.
My best friend is Japanese; we joke about that shit all the time.

My regular black "duty" work boots are Red Wings. I don't have any "flair" on my black boots.
They are awesomely comfortable and I just LOVE the side zippers that make them so easy to put on. :)

Obviously, that pic is of my snake boots. Too bad snake boots don't have zippers, but I guess that might make them less waterproof? Anyway, they take forever to put on and take off. Oh well, I guess that's the price you have to pay for snake protection.

LOL. This is hilarious. So you're saying that your guess have been the same if my last name were Smith? I don't know who you're trying to fool with your comment above, but you're full of shit.
