Oh shit. did someone try something different again!? Hurry, make fun of them before they do something else original!

Its not so much they tried something different its more that they hacked up a nice looking truck. I've seen some quality orginal work done on rovers but that snorkel is something else.

True, but someone had to do it. Origional stuff doesnt always look good the first time.. it takes a few tries to get it right.

I guess what got me is:
I know I keep asking this, but why can't these assholes leave the P38 alone?
Isn't there a beater classic somewhere they could be hacking up?

considering I am an asshole that wont leave my P38 alone.

Its like theres rules to which land rovers you can fuck with. RRCs and Discos: yes. P38s and new shit: no. defenders and series: just a little.
thats bs.

Calm down guys... I think the real question at hand here is this... is the round tubed snorkel stronger than the squared tube snorkel...

It's a bit rough around the edges but the general shape seems to go better with all the squared accessories that we put on our rovers.:victory:

But with this you dont really get a few tries. He needs to replace that fender if he wants to do it over again. I'm all for building your own stuff. I built my rear bumper, rear pinion skid, rear door table just like Marcs, and many other things... but I won't put them on my truck unless I think the function and form are up to my standards.

Yes, and isn't it you who can't go on any trials that might leave a pinstripe?

No. I couldnt go on that because aside from a lift and tires my trucks basically stock, and that trail he was talking about was for much more modded trucks.

And while I dont like it, I do applaud him for going out on a limb and trying it.

i won't applaud anyone for photographing that. it's one thing to test and come up with concepts, but it's another thing to install, photograph and debut it. lol.
true that you have to start somewhere, but that's what conceptual drawings are for.

i'm not a carpenter, so you won't see me making crown molding. if i did and it looked like shit (which it would), i'd expect to get bent over.
