My repair was made with stitched PVC canvas, and reusing metal hooks. It feels as original ones.
PVC canvas was an idea copied from "Lumbar rest" strap material, in the back from the same seat.

Thank You for the answers.
Yes, Discos1 don't have a programmable DRL. I did a small PCB, that turns lights on, turns them off if lights are manually connected, and can be disabled by pressing "rear fog lights" prior to start.
I'm prepairing some from these for my mates here
For connection I...
Hello,
from some years ago in my country is required to drive with dimmed Headlights "on" during the day.
As Disco 1 does not allow to leave the light switch permanently on, because lights don't go off together with engine, you may forget to turn on the lights, for example after refueling.
This...
You have to insert the rubber seal in the glass, then insert a cord inside the seal lips from outside perimeter, put them onto the position in your Disco and while a friend push the glass, you pull the cord making the seal lip taking its proper position.

One mate's Disco had once problems with this switch, but we opened it, and assembled again worked ok. The problem came when he connected a trailer. Are you using only the original brake bulbs?

Mi friend's 95 Disco TDI did leak first from heater core, and a year later one alluminum tube had a leaking point. He got a new set of tubes from local dealer.
The insulation foam tubes make difficult to find the leak.

Congratulations!!
In order to diagnose: You feel softer pedal after offroading, and later in the road you feel it good again: Adjust wheel bearings.
Note that you can't test wheel bearings free play until You remove flanges... So usually seems wheels are in perfect shape.

Just curious because I find more LR docs in the web than in my rave CD.
Another forum with most 300TDI users is AULRO, there are many experts that can help You.

Sorry, I didn?t knew about "thou"(Imperial system)
As each thou is 0,0254 mm, that the change will be less than 0,1mm, so may be you will use the same gasket size without problems.

Hi Edward
it is very important to warranty that the plain in the block is perfect, specially in the liner zones. You should rework the plain from head too.
You have different head gasket types from different row materials, and different height.
You must measure how much the piston goes out and...
