I'm not real mechanically inclined and not sure where to find everything. The only procedures besides changing the oil that I have preformed are change the spark plugs/wires and the o2 sensors.
So, here is where I'm at. I have replaced the battery, when the key is turned there is no click or...
Does anyone have any tips on changing the valve cover gaskets on a 99.5 DII? I loosened the two bolts I could see yesterday just to see what all would be involved(I didn't have time to actually perform the job) but there seems to be something unseen holding it down on the engine side.
I had my wife as the second body, maybe my problem. I had her pump the brakes 3-4 times and hold it the last time. I would open the valve until fluid squirted out then close the valve and tell her to let off. After 4 trys I had to stop b/c I ran out of brake fluid to top with.

This my SES light came on in my 99D2. I had 7 codes all dealing with misfires. I changed the plugs and wires last year. I had the codes reset and have been about 10 miles without the light reappearing. With all cyliders having a misfire code should I be looking towards the coil pack? How...

Thanks,
Mark
Plug wires
I changed my plug wires one at time b/c after getting the first one off I was worried I might not be able to it back on, very frustrating. Took a week for knuckles to heal, I still have to do #7. I wish that coupon didn't say "Void if copied".
Thanks, I stopped a couple of times yesterday morning on the way to work and killed the truck but that didn't help but after work the lights were gone and I am back to normal. I have noticed that on some hot (95+) days when I get in and put it in reverse, it takes a few seconds before it...
