My rear door on my 99 D2 wont open. I lubed the exterior handle, but it seems that the lock won't unlock. Any way of fixing this problem without pulling the inside panel? I'd have to basically destroy the safari box that I have built back there to get the panel off. Anyone else have this...

The 4.6 conversion in my 99D2 is done. What a difference in performance! It almost makes me forget I need to get gears. Almost. If you have the means I highly recommend it. :D

Well it looks like the #1 cylinder liner slipped, time for a new engine. Looks like a good chance to upgrade to the 4.6. The funny part is that the car was running tip top until a heater hose blew.

I'm for it. I have always figured to each their own, so why not? Let's hear everyones thoughts. Who's moving to California...... :patriot:

Mine seems to get stuck in High after driving for any length of time, but if I let it "cool" for about 20 min. it will shift into low. Does anyone have a pic of where the solenoid is and what it looks like so I can remove it. '99 D2 Thanks, Steve

It's about time to do the headgaskets on my '99 D2, and amongst other things, was thinking of relocating the coil packs elsewhere. Anyone have any pics or done this? I figured might as well since the top half of the engine is apart. Steve

I think it's getting time time do gears, I have 32s now, but I'm probably gonna go to 34s next set of tires. Anyone have any suggestions/ experience? Will 4.77s be too low for even the 34s? Thanks, Steve

My check engine light came on and I had it checked. It came up as left and right bank lean. Is this a common engine code? No vacum leaks also. Any ideas? '99 D2 with 120k on the clock. Thanks, Steve

I just mounted two hella lights on my bumper, but what about the wiring for the third? The harness only came with outputs for two lights, should I just tap into one of the other lights? How has everyone else done this? I searched and only came up with fog lights, or four roof lights, but none...
