Concealed Carry Weapon

No one bitched more about Glocks than me. I own 4 off them now from 9mm 45 acp 40 to 10mm. In a holster they are perfectly safe. In reality you should carry a handgun of any type in a holster .In your pocket is great until you are rolling around on the floor fighting someone. Not all fights go instantly to gun play or even merit the threat of their use.

I hope to never be in such a situation. I'd prefer to not let anyone meaning me harm to get that close, either by retreating (yes, I'll run to avoid being shot or shooting someone).

Packing heat is for the situation you can't get out of, can't back out of, can't talk out of, and is a last ditch effort.

I don't want to advertise I'm packing and don't like to carry on me any more. A purse/holster is plenty close enough for me. In my line of work, it's good enough. Now, when I drove a cab, that was another story.

x2 my friend.

FWIW, when I'm trying extra hard to conceal the firearm I'm carrying, I go with my trusty AMT .380 Backup. Otherwise, I've been known to carry a Glock 27 (among other things)

Picked an LC9 today for a killer deal. Will see how it shoots tomorrow.

When you go to a shop and the LC9 is only $35 difference over the LCP, I figured why not go up to the 9mm.

And that is when you use the Karate , KM, BJJ or any of the other goodies they trained you on, I mean , break their arm first... then reach into your pocket :D

I carry Sig P238 if pocket carrying and P232 otherwise ( P232 is the reliable PPK )

If you carry HOT, there is no f@#king way you catch me with a glock unless holstered with trigger guard

I am probably getting the 232 next month along with another SP2022. I am looking forward to carrying the 232 in the summer and the 2022 I think is one of the best guns for the money.

Right now I generally carry a P226 or a P220. Go big or go home.

You'll enjoy the P232 the only recommendation is to stay away from cheapo ammo like Partizan, Wolf, and the likes

How do you carry yours? I'm thinking about getting one of the Hume that sits a little higher.

eh, i carry my P229 .40. Just a tad smaller than the 226. The hogue grip i have on it makes a bit thicker, but if a slim fit is really an issue I can always put my factory grips back on.

robert, you sold ur D2??? text me or facebook me sometime bro. i didnt know about this haha

yeap Hume D.A.H ( I don't like side holsters )

Ive been looking at the DAH and the 721 open top for my larger pistols... It's definitely nice having similar guns (226 and 220) so I only have to buy one holster to fit both.

Smith and Wesson M&P full size or compact .40 S&W

I love this, probably because I still love the feel of 659...but hey, if you are drawing it out of anywhere, pockets, holster etc you are either:
1. Flashing it to warn someone off
2. Using it

Either way it works real well....especially the knock down effect of a .40 vs the 9mm - I don't want the fuckturd getting up again if it is a misplaced shot.

GLOCKS! No fucking way...you want something with a better safety if you are carrying it daily in non-battlefield conditions...those safety's on them are awesome only when you are "actively" going to be pulling it out to use it - FROM A HOLSTER!

Had the opportunity to shoot the S&W MP9c and really liked it, heard the bigger one was even better...also looked at a Ruger SR9c but haven't been able to shoot it. The reviews on both were good and they are in the same price range....decisions decisions

If you get a chance look at the Sig SP2022. For $379-400 new with night sights it is one of the best values out there. I had one in 9mm and it was an excellent gun. Hopefully I will be picking one up in .40 this week.

I used to have a SP2340 in .357 SIG. Almost wish I didn't sell it, but I wasn't interested in trying to conceal carry it. Used the money to fund the Kahr PM9. The SP2340 was a good value, but had a proprietary accessory rail. Good to see the SP2022 went to a picatinny - might have to track down one in .357 SIG.

I love sig as you can see

used to have a 2029, replaced it with an Elite Dark threaded ( P220 ) but went back to my trusted 92FS ( made in italy of course not the MD rubbish )

I'm right there with ya! Sig has treated me very well. My P220 is a West German, my 226 is one of the 2000 NSW serial number Navy's, had a 2022 in 9(traded it on the navy). Also have a 522 and have been looking at their 7.62 rifle.
