mine were dry as all hell by 25ooo miles, I very much doubt it would have gone 60k
the rebuild takes about 1 hour and all you need to do is replace the 3 u joints and grease the center pivot.
I used marine grease when I did mine at 25k and it still looked perfect at 77k when I just tore it down and reinspected it.
IMHO there is no reason to go to a upsized shaft such as a spicer 1310 that GBR sells unless you are running huge tires and such...just rebuild the stocker
