Robbie, keep the credit card in the freezer where it belongs and pay cash.. Nothing good comes out of those things unless you got the coin to pay it off when you get the bill.. I had to really bust my butt to pay mine off when I got hit with the stupid stick and charged a bunch of crap that I thought that I needed at the time..

I tell you what, being debt free feels real good. I'm going to try my best to keep it that way.. Well, personal debt, still got the house and utillities but, the wife pays for those anyways.. :)

Take your new Disco out yet? Getting to be camping/drinking weather around here.. :D

Ya, no shit.... Koby I have to ask, what do you use to clean your truck, how often, and what steps do you take ( ie wash, pre wax cleaner, sealer glaze, then wax ) to get it so damn clean? I wash mine and try to wax it when I can but, damn, yours is always nice and shiney?

Ho, same question to you if you read this cause your's is always looking good too..

i agree completely on the credit, that is why i don't have any of that yet :cool: i always try to pay cash for my stuff, but that money tree I was growing out back turned into a regular birch instead. i knew i should have kept the cow.

funny you should ask about the truck. past 2 weeks i have been driving a bright yellow 3 door freelander. i was taking the truck into LR Alexandria for some warranty work, a few little issues since i just picked it up end of Feb. I mentioned I had heard some slight knocking from the bottom end. i actually thought it might just be an exhaust leak. service dude calls me late afternoon and says this may take awhile. either a new block or some work inside needs to be approved and they haven't given me an eta on when that'll be done. thank god i bought a truck from LR with a warranty. and no offense to all the freelander owners out there, i do not like this thing. my wife actually drove it for a few minutes and said she hated it and won't drive it anymore.

On days I really get after it I wash, clay bar, Meguiars Fine Cut Cleaner, Meguiars Mirror Gloss Polish, then wax.

Usually that's about twice a year, otherwise it's just a quick wash, clay bar and wax.

Yeah, plenty dirty here too... And I assure you, the Engel was in there and kicking when that pic was taken... ;)

Just curious, I keep mine in the rig and running 100% of the time. Do you guys do the same?

Rob and Eric: The best thing you can do credit wise is get a few and manage it well. Pay it off month to month. That is what I do. You cannot imagine you credit rating increases and good credit ratings are undeniably important to many finacial situations you run into these days. i know its tough, when I first got credit I always had a balance. No longer.

Ahh, Debt. I had that once. Sold the disco drove a beater rangie and appreciated everything more. Got rid of the debt bought a house and now debt is back.. hehe. in a managable amount now. I would have to say buy the engle and use the charge card, pay that bitch off later. it's worth it >-}

No doubt. I love the fridge. Hate the debt, only have a house debt at present, but thats fine with me. I REALLY despise car payments though. I refuse to do that gig.

Bri, I already learned my lesson.. I was lucky enough to be in a position where I paid them off without having any negative effects on my credit nor having to call them, use a helper, or anything like that... I just got serious and started sending them money, lots and lots of money, till they were paid.

Being debt free has allowed me to stay at home all day and just be dad so it is certainly a great thing.

anyways, enough about that..

Koby, did some one toss mud on your hood for that picture or was there some freak mud slinging action going on? Looks like some one mounded it on there..

I agree, eric, no more hijack. But still interested if people just leave them in the rig and on or not. I could keep it on for 2.5 days with a red top. Have yellow now, but no formal test since I have been firing up the rig nearly daily.
