Steve. I didn't block YOU. Just Musky...for now. It's a cool feature. I LIKE IT!

I don't mind if you think I'm an asshole. If you got to know me, you'd KNOW I was an asshole.

I will be very careful about your advice from now on though. ;)

K. I guess I will stick with open for now in the rear and just change out the gears to 4.11's. We'll see. Who knows....? I might surprise you all.

Thanks to a few of you though I will NEVER buy anything from Keith. He can use his *Posse* all he wants. I won't even mention the company name because I won't give him any publicity here good or bad. He can use his friends here all he wants. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and thought he handled things correctly in the end, but now see him as using his *friends* to do his dirty work at arm's reach. Bottom line is you assumed that since you had friends on here, you could change the price after the deal is made, and when I complain about it, you tell me too late it's already shipped, and say, "Thanks". You don't even address the fact that I said to cancel it based on the new price. It was as if you said, "Fuck you. You're buying it whether you like it or not and if you try to do something about it, my friends and I will fuck you over on Dweb." New flash: That shit don't work with me. Keith you can blame your friends, when I do to you what Musky and other "Keith" allies do to Bill from GBR. And if I get banned for it, the dweb world and others can see what really happened, or not. I doubt that will happen though since Ho sells some of GBR's stuff. Either way, I won't care. I'll be happily wheeling my truck and still find ways to gain info and insight on it, and help others where I can with what I have learned so far.

Now let's see the shit fly....:flipoff3:

If I would of known how much of a douche bag you were I would of sold my third to someone else. :patriot:

How do you piss of Musky and Steve Rupp in the same thread? Why not go for three and piss of Marc O. That way you'll never get good solid technical advice from d-web again. WTF happen to being humble and listening to those who know?

What happened to it? I canceled an order based on principal and refusal to be bullied under threat of extrication by friends at Dweb. I wouldn't be surprised if Musky is getting a cut of Keith's business to railroad his competitors. Something he is so quick to accuse everyone else of doing. That's not solid advice. It's biased advice. I have no problem with anyone who lets me be free to make my own choices. I'm not the type to be pushed around either, but I'm old enough to know that even if you think you are right, doesn't mean you have to fight, so eventually I'll settle down and realize that it's not worth wasting energy on. On that, I'm going to get a Jack and Coke Press.

Well gee. If I'd known what a dick YOU were I would've never bought it from you. I hope it's in good shape as promised...

I know it will be...because he unlike you is a great contributor to this community.

Wow now that I know your resume I bow down to your infinite knowledge in wheeling. Your so smart. You got me pegged I just play in the shallow end. I just should go back to playing with my little running RRC. Of course I know it's better to run HD axles with a detroit :D

Actually, Post isn't a dick he's just responding to your asshole comments like myself and the others. He's been great to deal with on parts for me. So if there is a problem I'm sure it will be on your end.

oh and since everyone is looking at the thread on snhlr let me know if you have a pair of 1" spacers for the rear :D

Well thats news to me. Musky getting a cut of Keith's business? Both have been stand up guys. I've bought axles from Keith and gotten plenty advice from Musky. Both have been nothing but great to me on this board.

I'm pretty sure he's not a dick too, but I figure since he was name calling, I had to rebut. ;)

Sorry post. Did I get a super fantastic deal that would have been snapped up quickly by someone else? Truly I didn't realize that if I did. I saved about $$200-250 versus new I think and a bit of labor to set it all up as far as I can see. I'm not that knowledgeable on what used parts like this go for. Site unseen and based on trust I think you did pretty good.

Unlike you ArmyRover, I don't claim to be an expert or step on others for not BEING an expert...like you... But I'm not new to 4 wheeling either. When my boys and I get home, we jump on the ATVs and ride right outta the yard and can go for miles. I have three 4WD trucks to play with. And when it's not snowing, I ride my motorcycle. No shortage of vehicles here bud, but insurance is expensive. My bike costs over $3000 per year alone to have on the road, and that's with merit and territory discounts from living away from all that traffic. No sir...not walking. Near broke, but not walking. :D

I highly doubt keith bullied you.

and I dont get paid by keith or anyone else in the rover business...I am a enthusiast and call it like I see it.

I am far from quick to call anyones business anything, I only post about things I have first hand knowledge of. Products I have had myself or the direct people I wheel with and know well.

and I happen to think thats what solid advice is all about.

we have all seen guys like you come and go around here for years. You come ask all kinds of dumb questions but yet claim a lifetime of other brand expierience. the questions you ask dont add up from one thread to another and then at some point the community has had their fill of the BS...I think we are getting just about full of yours.

I've never claimed to be an expert unlike you with wheeling all your life. I know what I know and I admit what I don't.

Fortunately for me I didn't need to know anything about a rover to say your being an ass to a great guy Keith.

I think you need a new insurance agent or you need to quit getting in wrecks. My bikes are no where near that much.

I must be the only guy to come to D-web with no off-roading experience. I had to learn on the job so to speak. I rode ATVs too and can hardly count that as experience inLand Rovers or "Wheelin" vehicles. I've wheeled Rovers for several years now and still don't know half of whats going on. You must be a unique learner.

Well - I can understand him being pissed at Keith for raising the price... but there are always too sides to any thing so I'm staying out of it.

He did buy my D1 linkage, and it was a easy simple transaction. Very good sale and a nice guy from my end.

As for "the bullies" here.... well I sure took some abuse at first here. I seem to recall some mention of BULLSHIT when I mentioned swapping a fully mechanical Isuzu TDI into a D2 and still having everything work. I took it - and learned from their knowledge in between the bashing. I could see it was just a way to weed out the BS and the trolls. LOL. And by the way the bashing was never that bad, more of a "what the fuck are you doing.... and do you REALLLLLLY know what the fuck you're getting into?" "Are you stupid??? -- Hmm, I guess not, OK cool, have at it Doug!" :p

I think deep down some people (myself included) think I am nuts.

And the the BW1339 Quadratrac is still a good transfer case. :smilelol:

Putting a TDI into a D-II is at a little higher level than asking about stock axles and lockers. You more than proved your skill in my book. Still like hearing about your build

Psssttt .. next time you want people to believe you are a SURENO ..it is ESE not Essay

LOL. I know. It's from another thread, where one of these guys was using the word. It was an inside joke.

Musky. I unblocked you. Keith's email came across that way. Partly because I have been waiting to see what happens. He's noticeably absent from this debate. Kind of like you were trashing Bill for. I figured I'd leave it between him and I, but it became clear that he bitched to his Posse as you guys call yourselves, and you guys attacked on his behalf.

And I never claimed to have built and wrenched trucks. I normally just drive them, break them, and then pay someone else to fix them. Other than a Toyota that someone started and I had finished to look and function like a safari truck back in the mid 90's, I've never really modded out a truck. I probably had some of the same gear you guys are running in some of my early trucks. I've had trucks with lockers but in my 20's didn't know what kind, only that I could go in two wheel more places than my buddies in 4wd! Just bought them the way they were done by someone else, or drove them stock. Until 2003 when I bought my first D2. I modded the crap out of it, still by paying someone else to do the work. My time was better spent working to make money so I could play hard instead of wrenching my truck. I applaud all of you who do, but not wrenching doesn't mean I don't wheel. That's like saying the top NASCAR drivers can't race or drive if they didn't build their own cars. That's just dumb. Of course I do appreciate talking with guys (like you) who do wrench, because it helps me decide what to run in my truck. I don't see what the problem is with that.
