Yes but NASCAR drivers have pit crews when their shit breaks. Most of us don't have pit crews on the trails so we learned how to fix and build our own shit. It makes the trip nicer when you can get your truck going or at least off the trail

Fortunately for me I didn't need to know anything about a rover to say your being an ass to a great guy Keith.
I think you need a new insurance agent or you need to quit getting in wrecks. My bikes are no where near that much.

Musky. I unblocked you. Keith's email came across that way. Partly because I have been waiting to see what happens. He's noticeably absent from this debate. Kind of like you were trashing Bill for. I figured I'd leave it between him and I, but it became clear that he bitched to his Posse as you guys call yourselves, and you guys attacked on his behalf.

you by your own admission you plan to run chains and dive into terain at speed.
chains on 73lb tires with 30lb rims packed with snow and ice will create alot of rotational energy. when you stuff that spinning tire into a bog or buried tree or some other obstruction under the snow that increased amount of stored energy may snap a shaft and when it does then flip a coin on the life expectancy of the detroit.
you have allready expolded both factory diffs at the same time with your chosen driving style so just be ready to pay the piper.
IMHO you would have been better off with ARB's because they unlock for ice covered roads and dont fail as often as a detroit when a shaft fails...if I were you I would be selling the TT and DT and buy some ARB's...but thats just me.

FYI all, the price went up to $469 when the invoice arrived (original deal was $430)
How much was for shipping? Did you expect that for free? You burned that bridge for 39 bucks. You have no idea how much that will cost you.
Rip Thom & Steve all you want I can give you a list of people outside Dweb that they have gone out of there way to help.
Oh threaten Nathan thats a good one as well!
extrication by friends at Dweb
You have things a little twisted better guess next time. How you say SA, Essay,ESE, eh!
You have much to learn NUB!
Keep telling yourself you are the outdoorsman,ATV,4X4 man of the year. You have no clue about anyone here. you ego is as large as you rover knowledge. O....
Oh ya now that your bridges are burned what are you going to do for your knowledge.
Doug you are a badass!:bigok:
MUSKYMAN said:first off I respect keith for what he brings to this community...but I dont happen to have any of his products on my truck and I never claimed to be in his posse.
My bull shit meter went off on you when you made claims I was attacking bill from GBR in the other thread...once again just calling it like I see it. So I have happened to watch your posts...then I see you posting a new thread about a detroit and I responded with what I would call solid advice based on things you said in a number of threads
then it hit me that you had bought that TT from keith so I had to ask what gives.
so still from where I am sitting it looks like you changed your mind and now by your own admission stuck keith for the freight...and IMHO thats "not so good"
