We left the ACE components except for the air springs and a fuse. Installed new shocks and coils.
Still have the amber light but will eventually clear that. I have a sense of loss for the ACE but this was the easy fix.
During Cash for Clunkers we removed the parts for the coil conversion from a very nice looking Disco, but haven't looked at the parts since. We have been pretty happy with the ACE system and what it does for the car. Just hoping for the "duh" fix.

We were told "aluminum head", expect to replace the gasket at 100,000 miles or earlier. Just part of the package. We need to replace ours. Overall, we are not unhappy with maintenance costs versus other vehicles.
I thought the striking ref's were in bed with the odds makers. The replacement ref's still make the game interesting to watch or listen to. Maybe for different reasons.
