    What was your first car?

My first ride was your mom. No wait, it was your sister. I traded her in for a fish too.

Where to put the jerry cans?

Um, yeah, silly me, I guess we should ignore the advice of the many people, including Tom Shepherd, who have more experience than us. But then again, maybe you have the one Land Rover in the world that is air tight.:ack:

Where to put the jerry cans?

Get some good jerry cans and mount them inside the cabin on the floor behind the front seats. If you are worried about fumes, wrap them in a few plastic garbage bags with duct tape and put up one of those tree air fresheners on your rear view mirror.

    RRC Question for the "experts"

Never had a 3.9 but my old DI had the 4.0. Compared to the 4.0, my 4.2 has tons of more power, even with a lift and larger wheels. My 4.2 is stock but I'm starting to think I'm one of the lucky ones who got a well balanced engine. Others with 4.2 have driven mine and state mine has more power...

    Daily Drivers

109 is my DD when it isn't having carb issues. Otherwise it is the RRC. Wifey drives a Benz. I hate that car. Too small. Feels like I am driving a go-cart. But, like gunny, everything is paid off. Why become a slave to debt just to drive something with better mpg. Maybe if I was...

    Hmmm.... a tuff decision.

94 or 95 RRC LWB gets my vote. 4.2 is a good engine with plenty of power over the 3.9 in the SWB. Plus, if you don't have kids already, once you do, you will appreciate the extra room in the LWB. Even without kids you can put a lot more stuff inside the truck and keep your COG low by keeping...

You all need a history lesson.

I did the correct thing and immediately forwarded it to every conservative and liberal I know. My dad (retired military) has now moved me (ex-social worker) ahead of my sisters in his will.

    3"

Yup, 3" RTE lift here, only added rear links from Keith. Wee bit of wandering up front but nothing I can't live with right now. No vibrations but I will be changing over to a DII front drive shaft when I put in the LT230. Probably get the front arms at that point just because.

    Wife's contractions started last night!

Did you have the option to do it or something? Hell, I'm a man, I made my wife do the childbirth thing. No way in hell I was going to do it.:D Sorry, couldn't resist. Anyways, congrats Stu & family!
