Not anymore :D I'm back to my old RTE springs with 1" spacers. I did add a couple of spring isolaters to the rear.

X2. But then again Kyle does have FJ80 axles on his truck so it could be the other way around.

haha deal. yeah its not that bad but the RRC was so smooth. I prob will not switch the springs cause they were cheap and flex well for the little I do with it.

It's more than likely a taller spring issue with you. The FJ80 springs are pretty damn soft. You would be pretty stable on a set of 2" RTE, OME, or MD or HD Terrafirmas. I'll let you ride in min on the 35s once I get my front coil overs on and you will probably feel a lot better about yours...

1997 Discovery 1 - Very Clean, Well Maintained Daily Driver

After about a year of enjoyment, I'm ready to pass along my Disco to a new owner that will hopefully properly enjoy it off of the pavement. Despite my best intentions I was never able to make time to properly exercise it. The Craigslist ad text is below, most of this will be pretty simple...

+2 schocks for a D2 and diff guard.

Ol Man Chickadee's are made by Monroe for those who didn't know. They are basically the same as the LT series shocks with urethane bushings. For the fronts look at FJ80 Land Cruiser shocks... I run Rancho RS5000s and they are about 2" longer than OE shocks and 1" longer than Bilstien HD's (not...

    Fj80 Springs Free

I ended up helping my buddy install a lift on his Land Cruiser today. He gave me the springs. From what I've read you can move your Disco's rear springs to the front and throw the FJ's fronts on your rear for a 2in lift. The springs are free, I'm in Phoenix and won't ship. Thanks, Jim 602.279.6802

LR & Jag to reduce platforms to 2

You're showing your ignorance now. So in your beloved FJ80 you just toss some springs in and go? Hahahaha. On your leaf sprung trucks, sure, just toss in some new leafs (or probably in your case some of those sweet aluminum lift blocks from Advance Auto). If you're buying a quality set of...

LR & Jag to reduce platforms to 2

You got "into" Rovers in what, ~2000? So in 10-years you've replaced 3 radiators in the what, 8 or 9 Rovers you've owned? This sounds like a huge issue to be concerned with. But if it makes you feel any better, I help put a radiator in a 1994 Toyota pick-up about 2-weeks ago. Single cab 4wd...
