Plasti dip is a great solution for some applications, but it is not very robust. For a roof rack or similar I would look at spray on bedliner. It will last much longer and resist peeling way better that plasti dip.

Looks good. Like others have said, it's easy to touch up. I prefer spraying several light coats to build up material thickness. Let it dry completely, then score the edge where it meets the masking with a fresh razor. Crisp,clean results that are easily removed.

Check out Por15. It should prevent rust from returning. You can then leave the gloss finish, or topcoat with rattle can. Good luck!

I am sure those Rhino Liner dealers will do however small or large a section you want. What about having them spray the bumper support area (the area you want to cover) and then give them the sheetmetal component separate? That way you have a super durable, rust free application.
