For those of you who work on your trucks, I was wondering how everyone documents the maintenance. I just write the mileage, date and what I did on a blank page in the manual, but it is getting pretty messy. Anyone use software for this?

Everyday for the last 2 or so years I drive past this truck semi-abandoned in a field down the road. Finally I got a camera and took some pics, can anyone identify what year, model etc? Series II something, maybe? Would this have a number somewhere similar to a VIN?
