OME 751 & 764 springs and LR isolators

I've got a pair of OME 751 and a pair of OME 764 springs for sale. Each pair $60 plus shipping from 95409. I bought them used but not used by me. Just sat in my garage this whole time. Tags are still on them. I also have a pair of brand new, still in packaging, Genuine Land Rover Spring...

    '95 Classic alternator choices

My alternator is going out. I hear people speaking of the 140 amp alternators from Will as well as British Parts of Utah (was RoverConnection) but all my research indicates that those are just for v-belt rovers up to 1994. Can I just get a 120 amp alternator for a P38 and then swap the pulleys...

    Interior light issue

My interior lights have been working intermittently, and now they pretty much don't work. When I hit the button for the interior lights, they come on so I know the bulbs are good. but when I open the door(s), the lights don't come on. I've removed all the switches and cleaned them up, as well as...

    Wiring 2nd battery RRC

Seeing that I have not seen or found a way to install a second battery in a 95 RRC, I have an idea of putting it in the rear of the truck. But I am wondering how to wire it up. I can run 0 gauge wire back there, but my limited knowledge of wiring tells me that it may not be enough to handle the...

    Where does this go?

After my complete engine rebuild on my 95 RRC, I managed to hook everything up right, with the exception of this one hose. Can anyone pop the hood of their truck and tell me where it goes? It's driving me crazy. Thanks.

    Steering wheel ticking?

I've got a 2000 DII with 85k miles. I replaced the head gaskets a few thousand miles ago, and ever since then my wife has been telling me she hears a ticking noise around the steering column or in the dash area. I didn't believe her of course. I was wrong....of course. The ticking only occurs...

    4.2 engine build

I will be pulling my 148,000 mile 4.2 out in the next couple of weeks and rebuilding it as a winter project. I am just waiting for parts at this point. I've done several head gasket jobs on Rover engines, but never got into the innards before. My goal isn't to build a monster 4.2. I use my LWB...

    Vintage Snap-On Tool chest

I've got this old Snap-On tool chest in pretty good condition. It's taking up room in my garage, and I'm thinking about selling it. Is there a market out there for this? Anyone know what something like this is worth? Or is an old tool box just that...an old tool box?

    Failed smog...I'm shocked

I just took my 95 LWB in to be smogged and it failed. I've never had a vehicle fail smog before. It failed on excessive HC's at idle. The max is 100 and I got 190. At 2500 rpm, my HC's were 65 (with the max being 180) so that was fine. All other tests passed as well. A little Google-magic tells...

I want it, but it's running hot

I've got my eye on a 1992 Range Rover in my area that is going for a very good price. The only problem is the previous owner says it is running hot, and he doesn't know why. He has all the receipts for the thousands he's put into it, but after sending it to "master mechanics", he finally gave up...

4.6 on fire - is it still good?

I've got a line on a 4.6 engine for a good deal, but it was involved in a fire. As you can see the photo doesn't show serious meltage, but I am wondering if I am crazy to even consider it. It just looks dirty to me. I'm pretty much just after the block...I don't care about the wiring. So my...

    Small issue with injector installation

I recently swapped my stock fuel injectors for the Ford fuel injectors (M-9593-C302). I noticed that the injector clips no longer work, because the "female" connector part of the new fuel injectors rise up at a slightly sharper angle. Basically, the clips interfere with the connectors. No matter...

    Cool camping catalogs?

This is related to the Snow Peak tent thread. Anyone have any good camping catalogs they recommend? I'm not looking so much for camping magazines like the best trails to go on or anything like that. I am talking about gear catalogs...something I can drool over in the evenings. The Snow Peak...

    1995 Range Rover 4.0 - $4900

TRUCK HISTORY: I purchased this truck seven months ago when it was not running. Previous owner replaced the engine but did not know how to diagnose the electronics to get it to run. I got it running, fixed several electronic problems and replaced some normal wear parts. It ended up running so...

    La Carrera Panamericana

Has anyone done this? For those that don't know, it's a race about 2000 miles long over 7 days, all on the roads in Mexico. I will be going this year in a mechanic/support role. Anyone have any advice about the race itself, or even about traveling throughout Southern Mexico? Here is an overview...
