^^agreed.
Especially with a 'luxury' vehicle like a Land Rover. MSRP on replacement parts is HUGE. And since the trucks lose value so fast, it doesn't take a very crazy wreck to cause enough damage to enough pieces to total it out.
Got rear ended in my D1. Received over $1k for the damage...
It is more terrifying as a passenger, I think it is mostly because you have no control over what is going on. As a driver you know what you are making the truck do, or at least act like it....haha..! Having a steering wheel to hang onto helps a lot too.
I am 5'8" and NEVER needed the sun...
Seriously?
You must be the biggest buzz kill of the company. "Lets tell on them behind their backs--tee hee heee."
You dont need to go kicking people in the shins and spitting at them in a face to face 'confrontation.' There is the sane, middle ground of having a chat with someone, where you...
I don't remember Bilstein getting too much praise around Dweb. I think they are even SHORTER than OME. OME will be good enough with a general 2" lift and moderate wheeling, anything more and you better start looking for longer shocks. And springs. And bumpstops...etc.
What is worse....a 4 page thread on Dweb about low lame LRO is (again)...
Or someone actually have an account on there...AND LOGGING in...to bring it to Dweb to have a beat down?
LOL...fuck man...these other Rover forums make me want to die...how can people be so dumb? The worst part is some...
Dont forget both Superwinch AND Warn decals...guess he couldnt figure out which would sponsor more money to him...lol, as well as BFG tires actually on the truck but Dunlop decals...
BTW...all four tires are spinning because of an equal LOSS of traction...to clarify someone's post earlier in this thread before it became a pissing contest of tire technology...dweb rocks...
Damn. When you are flying that long the last thing you want to do is stop. I would stop at whichever has the shortest amount of layover.
Having just come back from Frankfurt, I have to say the security there was absolutely abysmal. There is one area AT THE GATES where some flights are still...
I think the damage to the windshield actually was increased by impacting the bumper first whipping the tire down into the windshield.
Its cool though. Dont see that everyday for sure.
Regardless of what tests say, but in a highspeed highway accident, I would MUCH rather be in my RRC than my small 4 cylinder sedan...for sure....
Good luck up in AK!
