Can i have this truck towed with front wheels lifted hubs unlocked and transfer case in nettral Or does it have to go on dollies or flat bed. Aotomatic transmission. Only has 18 miles to get it towed home..

replacing the front driveshaft u joints. it looks as though there are no c clips to hold bearing caps in place. looks more like a roll pin. the new u joints have the c clips.
is this an outdated u joint that has been superseded with a newer type? if I knock out the old u joints and roll pins...

any ideas on how to replace the bearings in the rear hub assembly. i have the new bearings but wounder how to get the hub off. is it possible that the bearings have welded together. im fimilar with wrenching on the classic and series rovers but this sport is new to me. thanks

it seems as though the prices of defenders are coming down. are the prices of sreies rising? what i am thinking to do is to buy another series. not another chassis swap case, but one that someone else has put the time into, and like fine wine i would think they will increase in value with age...

does the PTO hang down with the shaft running under the bellhousing or do i rotate it 90 degrees so that shafts will run along the chassis rail? having trouble alignaing the drive shafts
