Lance ... like most other Discos ... it sits in the garage broke most of the time so she stays real clean! Actually, I just wait for holes in gaskets to spring up and that hot spray keeps the motor real clean. (I use Simple Green in the spray bottle, let sit for 5 minutes, rinse and repeat as...
Hey all...
I lost all my coolant from somewhere behind the intake plenum. Back down between that and the firewall.
I don't see any hoses back there and I'm not sure where the coolant passages run in this block. Sprays out in a stream, constant, and fast. Just can't see back there too well to ID...
I swapped both the RR and the Disco.
But I had other reasons for doing it (failure rate and parts availability).
Here in the desert, rubber tends to dry out and rot fast. Tires can only be on the vehicle for 5 years (mandate by law). So the bags did fail rather often. The valve body would always...
Does anyone out there have pages 81-95 of a 2003 Disco's Owners Manual?
Mine is missing those pages (AC Heater control) and I really need to figure this heater thing out before my trip. Never had much use for it, but will be tripping up to the mountains and would like to figure it out.
THANKS...
cox ... can you work with me shipping overseas?
I will cover all costs, just need help with the arrangements and signatures.
Totally understand if you bag.
Dean, check into these for a couple hundred a pair!
Height around 6 feet fully extended.
Base is absolutely stable. No worries about toppling.
On my plane this fits perfect, but of course you need to make a top mount bracket for automotive application. :D

1 or 2?
Mike,
Was that a one or two button remote?
Was wondering if anyone knew if the one button remote programming instructions in the TECH section worked for the 2 button remotes?
If so, which button do you push in step 10? Lock or unlock?
Also, does this programming work for non-alarm...
If they are that much of a problem, you can move them into my Disco. I won't mind and you'll have your cargo space back! ;)
Have you looked at the rear door? I had a buddy who mounted a few amps to the rear door, routed all the wires through the existing holes for the heater/lights etc. Looked...
Ditto
Same here, only mine was clanking against the frame to the inside, not the body.
I had it removed, like my neighbors Fugly Datsun B210 that used to sit in the front yard like a monument attracting bizzaros from all over to come and pay hommage to their God. ...but I digress!
Look for...
Same thing
I agree with Disco Dan there.
It is the tr@nny over heat light.
Check the fluid level.
Mine came on and stayed on. Fluid was fine and after 2 months I got so annoyed with that little red gear I replaced the sensor.

And then you'll have to kill us?
I always wondered why my dogs kept shaking when they jumped out the back after a long drive. I don't have one of those what-ja-ma-jiggies.

Power the switch
You need to power the switch. Tap into a 12v power source and run that to the switch.
Depending on when you want the lights to work, pick an appropriate 12v source.
With lights, pick a parking light source.
On anytime, pick a constant 12v source.

Aris,
FWIW - If you can't work on your own vehicle, getting a different 10 year old truck (Jeep or otherwise) won't make much of a difference. They all break and you have no idea when or where. My buddy bought a 1999 Volvo All terrain and the tr@nny went 3 months later. I have a 1996 Disco and...
